The person behind aqualogy.de is Arnd Weber. I use this blog to aggregate links and knowledge about aquatic environments, publish some of my underwater photographies and products as aquatic ecologist and ecological modeler.
My professional career developed from a biologist and diving instructor with broad knowledge in aquatic ecology of marine and freshwaters, to a doctoral student at the Leibniz-Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB) and Freie Universität Berlin. In the meantime I work as scientist at the Federal Institute of Hydrology (BfG).
Most of my research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals and you can find a complete list on my CV, but there were always chunks of information especially scripts from statistical and GIS programming that didn’t get a chance to be seen widely.
